Truman Web Design Certificate

In September 2008, I set out to earn a Web Design certificate from Truman College - one of the City Colleges of Chicago.  There are 5 classes required for certification: Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator, HTML/XHTML, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash.  The versions used depended on the software available to the school at the time.  During the fall of 2008, Adobe CS2 was used.  In January 2009 the school upgraded to Adobe CS4.  Each course is seven weeks; each class is three hours.

In addition to the five required classes, I took the optional one-day class for the Introduction to Web Design.  I also have plans to enroll in the InDesign as well as Advance Flash and Photoshop classes when they are available.  Currently, the Introduction to Graphic Design class is not available, but I look forward to enrolling in that class as well when it becomes available again.  More information on the Truman Web Design program can be found here.
