Favorite Dry Kibble
Look, in my book, there are only three food groups: meat, cheese and dairy. But like my human companions, I would go into cardiac arrest without proper nutrition and exercise. How do I achieve my luxurious black coat? Why can I run like a stealth missile? Why am I called "the Michael Phelps of Mondog"? When I am not eating people food, I eat human grade, all natural kibbie.

Merrick dry dog food is very nutritious and tasty, but it gave me gas. I ended up giving it to my neighbor Charlie, who loved it....
Fromm is local. They are located in Mecquon, WI (near Milwaukee). Talk about minimizing one's carbon footprint! And who understands "meat, cheese and dairy" better than Wisconsinites! Of note: Milwaukee is home to the Miller Brewery and Palermo Pizza Factory (tours available). Sadly, Pabst closed it's Milwaukee brewery. How to Read a Dog Food Label
Reading a dog food label is like reading human food labels. The main thing to look for is two quality animal protein sources listed within the first ingredients. Also look for two different sources of fat (for energy and essential fatty acids). The proper balance of animal fats and plant oil is important for the skin and coat.
